Owner & Captain Mark Williams

Captain Mark Williams has been fishing the Great Lakes since the age of six. He is a second-generation charter captain and worked on his father’s charter boat from 1979 to 1992. His experience on the Great Lakes ranks with the best in the business. He is constantly working to perfect his abilities and develop new techniques in the pursuit of Great Lakes' salmon and trout. Capt. Mark has fished each of the Great Lakes and his passion for fishing and the outdoors is unmatched. Capt. Mark is also the past President of the Detroit Area Steelheaders.

As an instructor with Great Lakes Charter Training, he is helping to shape the Great Lakes Captains of Tomorrow. This passion for the Great Lakes, and desire to share this incredible resource, helps to make YOUR trip of a lifetime!

Captain Jim Karr is widely known for his ability to catch BIG FISH! He is a legend in the charter community and has been fishing the great lakes for well over 40 years.   Captain Jim is a 100-ton U.S. Coast Guard Captain with over 40 years of experience fishing and navigating the Great Lakes. Whether it is skyrocketing steelhead or line ripping king salmon, Captain Jim will guide you over some of the most productive Lake Michigan fishing locations, around the Ludington area.

You will find Captain Jim to be knowledgeable and friendly. He will do his best to help you land that big one and create lasting memories for years to come.
