Bo Waite - First Mate
It is finally time to give credit where credit is due. I could not make Silver Addiction perform at a high level without the great support and effort of our first mate Bo Waite. I have had the pleasure to watch Bo (starting at age 6) develop into a first-rate deck hand on his grandfather’s boat, while fishing with his family, both for fun and tournaments. Therefore, it was a natural progression in his growth, as a Great Lakes Fisherman to become a First Mate. Bo has grown up in an outdoor family! Fishing, Hunting or Competitive Archery, Bo is outdoors. Bo is a tremendous asset to me and the boat, no matter the situation. Bo’s outgoing personality and eagerness to put every fish in the boat makes him the perfect fit to our boat.
We all believe that it is necessary to have a mate on the boat to give the customers the best Great Lakes Salmon experience possible. Bo is a licensed mate and is in the USCG Mates Program!

Jillian Colby
The Silver Addiction Crew is expanding for 2024. We are happy to announce that Jillian Colby has joined our crew as a mate. Do not let her looks and size fool you, as this young lady loves to fish and everything outdoors. Her grandfather was a long time Charter Captain out of Frankfort, and her Dad was his mate. It is in her blood you could say, besides, she is truly in the family, as a Great Niece! Jillian has already fished on Michigan Outdoors, and some local tournaments, as a deck hand with us. Her eagerness to learn and pay attention to detail, while fun fishing and competing with Bo, she has shown she will be a tremendous asset to the boat. Jillian always wants to be the best at whatever she does, sharing her passion and enthusiasm, we are excited to have her onboard. She has a drive and want to become the youngest Female Charter Captain on the Great Lakes. We have no doubt she will accomplish it.
